This addition to a circa 1950's elementary school consists of a new main entrance, small group instructional spaces, art and music rooms and administrative spaces. It is connected to the existing building by means of a sky lit atrium space.

The new façade, which includes a new main entrance to the school, is enlivened with the use of colored brick window surrounds, and accents, brightly colored canopies and signage.

The new sky lit atrium serves as a central circulation space, connecting, visually, the separate floor levels of the classroom wings.

At selected points in the internal corridor system, simulated sky lights add visual interest.
